Young Persons IOP

Based on our succesful Adolescent IOP Model The Live Free Recovery Consultants Young Persons Intensive Outpatients (IOP) substance abuse program is a comprehensive approach to treating those age 18-25 with a substance use disorder that combines traditional clinical components of an IOP with Peer Recovery Supports. It is designed to meet the unique challenges face by young people in recovery and addresses legal, academic, occupational, social and relational goals. As the only Young Person IOP in New Hampshire that has same age Peer Leaders in recovery participate in group sessions, we are able to provide members with immediate and relatable recovery supports.

IOP consists of three weekly meetings, three hours in length, for a period of four weeks and serves young adults between the ages of 18 and 25.  Groups will be conducted by master level licensed alcohol and drug counselors.  In addition to Peer Leaders, trained Recovery coaches are also present at all group sessions

Following the initial four weeks all participants will have the opportunity to continue with the group as part of our mentoring program at no cost. As a leader in training you will participate in groups, have continued contact with your clinician and peer supports, and recieve training towards becoming a Peer Leader.
