Having fun during Covid

Covid has turned everything upside down, and most of our normal routines were put on pause. Many places were forced to close, and we can’t hangout with our friends as often. Being stuck at home with nothing to do can be stressful and make you feel a little restless. But we came up with some activities that can help keep you occupied!

  • Find a virtual event that interests you! Whether it’s crafts, a cooking class, or even virtual tours of your favorite places, there is literally something for everyone.

  • Get some fresh air! We’ve all been stuck inside for the majority of the last few months, and it can be refreshing to get out of the house for a little while. You can still go for socially distanced hikes, get take-out from your favorite restaurants, or just go out for a walk. (Just make sure you bring a mask!)

  • Try out some yoga- Yoga can be a great way to wind down from the day and relax. If you try it and it’s not for you, there’s a bunch of other exercise videos that can be fun to test out.

  • With your parent’s permission, you can try out some home renovations! We’ve all been stuck at home, so change it up and re-decorate. Try painting your room or rearranging it to change things up a little bit.

  • Have a family night! Try cooking for your parents, have a game night, or watch some of your favorite movies/shows together. Even though it feels like you see them all the time, it can be good to have a night to reconnect and just focus on having a good time.
