Teen Mentoring/Youth Peer Leaders
Anyone who completes one of the adolescent treatment programs will be invited to participate in The Teen mentoring program. For 3-6 months members will participate in group, receive training toward becoming a youth peer leader, continue to work on current and develop new academic, social and occupational goals There is no cost and those who successfully complete will be offered paid positions as youth peer leaders.
Members will meet at least weekly with the program director to monitor progress toward their personal and recovery goals. They will participate in a weekly group supervision meeting with current and other future peer leaders. They will be expected to maintain good academic standing and attendance and have a minimum of twice weekly attendance.
